How rare is a Heineken edition Gamecube?

It would be nice to know if they came in some sort of different box.

For $50, I'd definitely like to own one.

 

I'm 90% positive that it came in a regular retail purple cube box. There are various pictures floating around of a Heineken cube next to a retail box. And if it came with a special box then at least one of them should've popped up by now. Can't tell for sure though as mine was loose too.

 

It most definately came in a standard purple box.

I have the flyer and poster scans of the advert somewhere at home on a HDD, I will dig them out and stick them here.

Big fail really considering how great the cube looks in various different colours.

 

Total twonk limited edition number 5. A few LE units are just crap with limp logos printed on them. Where's the effort, what's the point? We should have a "Worst LE version" competition some time. :thumbsup:

Does someone here own one? It looks badly sprayed from the photo, as if a purple cube was just sprayed green..?

 

THe picture is photoshopped. The real Heineken LE is purple. ;-)

 

4 years ago I bought one for $100 but the seller send it to someone else (he also had a regular cube for sale) OH: !

 

And he didn't do shit to resolve this?

 

they probably were drunk while thinking of that gamecube

also to the post above me,the heineken logo is a bit darker shade of green IIRC

 

Only a money refund. I also contacted that other buyer but he had already given it away as a gift :shrug:
