I have found a Sega Saturn Video CD Card its the offical SEGA make i believe. It was hiding in the back of my Japanese Saturn (white model). I was woundering how rare is this item?
It's not *that* common as they make it out to be, at least I remember Yakumo saying they could be up to $40 in Akihabara, and I've seen them for about 4000 yen at Super Potato (in Akihabara). Needless to say the Japanese version is not that common outside of Japan, and there was no VCD adapter released in the US at all.
I think PAL VCD is more rare but then most of MPEG titles are import so guess it's not much of use unless you have stacks of PAL VCD... :-D I have about 3-4 VCD cards from all three but use JVC Twin Operator on my main Saturn to watch couple of VCD I have... being NTSC/PAL compatible is bonus although I only have one PAL VCD and the rest all being NTSC...
Antipasta: of course, he didn't put his location information (as usual when people sign up), so we have no way of telling where he is from. Welcome to the forum Princescyther :smt023 hope you enjoy your stay, nice having another Saturn fan around!
lol thx i do love my saturn. I thought maybe the card would be worth a bit since on the ASSEMbler site he doesnt have the card that i do. It also says that he hasnt seen one with a sEGA marking on it. but there ya go.
The crisps or my local chinky?? My local chinky is a prostitute btw. She is a Golden Wonder, also the name of her "special move".
