    Pokemon and the Gold limited edition.

    I was asking out of all the color choices, how rare is this? From what I've heard it had a short production run.

    Yeah for some reason my camera keeps throwing the color purple with the flash. Here's a better angle. [IMG]

    Uncommon but not rare... I passed by a unboxed gold machine for less then Y500 only last week (three times in 3 different places in fact...) dito Pokemon machines aren't that uncommon, can get one for less then $50 boxed.

    Less common, but again they are still around.

    Personally, if I can go on eBay and find the item I'm looking for with no problems, chances are it's not rare. If you're having trouble finding something on eBay or Craigslist, then you might be trying to hunt down something on the rarer side.

    But I literally typed in "smoke N64" and got a bunch of results so...

    Was the Japanese version (Clear Black) only available as part of the 64DD set? I'd say that version is rare if that's the case. US version not so rare.

    actually there is one.

    It comes with rather bulky accessory that you stick it underneath and uses some kind of flat plastic card thingy that looks like oversized FD as well as the usual cart ... -__-;

    There's a Pokemon N64 near where I live for 200yen. It even has the power supply! There's something wrong with it though, but since I can't understand the written description, I have no idea what's wrong. Still, might be worth it just for the case alone.

    Tons of gold ones around here. Well, not tons, but they're not too difficult to find.

    (thought I'd bump the thread with some news on the Pokemon N64)
