Ive made a copy of a dvd on to my computer using magic dvd ripper. Now i want to burn it on to a dvd so its like the original so i can watch it on my xbox... I just cant work out how to do it!! What software can i use?! Ive tried using dvd shrink but the thing just gives me an out of memory error!!! :smt022
You can use CladDVD to rip and encode using NERO, though I can't promise you can keep your menus and such that way.
When it starts to encode a dvd it eats up all my ram and then runs out of memory.... I have like a gig of ram plus all the other windows stuff... arg all i want is a copy of a dvd!!! :smt022 Stupid thing will play on my pc but not on the xbox!
I have.... .BUP .IFO .VOB I need the subtitles and the menu to stay on though... What can i burn it with? Thnx Paulo
I guess Nero, I wonder if Nero will try to reencode the movie... Try making a DVD with only those files. Make a DVD data image, drop those files in and burn I guess. Look to www.vcdhelp.com
you could burn it with nero burning rom or for that matter alcohol 120 % but i think alcohol is best with isos and the likes. important reminder use a dvd burner.
I use the full version of Nero 6 (with Nero Vision Express and Nero Recode) and it works fine, and a damn site faster than DVDshrink and others like that.
i used nero express 6 and burnt it as dvd video files... doesnt work :-( I mean i can open the files and menu and stuff but the menu doesnt work!
Ah sorry its just PowerDVD being a bitch. Works totaly fine on the xbox and another media player on the PC. Thnx alot Paulo
I used Neo 6 Full version with all the extras to rip the Japanese Blade Runner DVD the other week. Didn't work though. The DVDr will play in the PC under POWER DVD but not in my DVD player which was the whole point of copying the DVD because I wanted to watch it on the big screen before I had to take it back to the rental shop :smt022 Yakumo
intersting because my copy of nero 6 does not preserve menus, and such which is why I've always stuck t DVD shrink
uh.... www.doom9.org ..... uh.... yeah.... lots of tutorials... did i mention is the best encoding site out there?
wasn't there DVD copy application that recently took off the market due to pressure from major studio? mate of mine bought and made several DVD copies. He reckon it was easy except the copied version has his name at the beginning of the movie? Though it doesn't bother him since he's using for private purpose anyway... cheers
