I wanna open the game tracks from the pc version, the midway arcade treasures deluxe have the levels stored in a GDF file, and the original the rock version from 1998 are stored in .ROM files

Doing some search i ve found that .GDF is mostly a file extension used for maps, especially GPS, and the .ROM is probably due to the fact that the game would only run from a obsidian videocard. Anyone know how to open them or extract the game files from the arcade version?

You gotta find some kind of unpacker for the files, even if you manage to extract the levels from those packs, you'll have to decrypt or convert the extracted levels into viewable format.

Like I already said, that'll be a start. It will decompress the CHD into something more usable.
