i just the quickshot conquerer, the A button won't work, the buttons have LEDs next to them to tell you that the button is being pushed.

the LEd doesn't come on and the button doesn't do anything in game :/

So how do I fix this?

open it up and check all the wires and contacts, the actual button contacts may have warn away or a wire may have come loose. if you're not sure open it up, take pics and post them

I had a look, i guess a wire has been burnt out, the wire was attached though.

I just chucked it in the bin, honestly it seems like too much fucking about and I can't fix anything like that.

What answer were you expecting, then? Breathe on it and it'll work?!

Joystick repairs are among the easiest, as it's either a faulty switch or a worn resistive track/pad. A shame you don't think it's worth the effort, but oh well.
