Hi. How can I get PSP Testing Tool and instal it on retail PSP 1000 or 2000 ( 2000 exploitable ) ? What can I do with PSP Debug Firmware?
Installing a TT firmware on retail would be useless since it would be even more worthless than retail ofw. There are 0 benefits to installing a TT firmware compared to running on CFW with psplink ( which will give you same if not more options ). So IMO... dont bother installing a TT firmware unless you have the actually TT unit... ....ofcourse thats just my 2 cents....
PSPdemon.... how small the world is Hi2u But yeah, TT on retail is even less useless than OFW on retail PSP. You can virtually do NOTHING with it, not even official stuff runns most of the time *lol* So besides the "cool feel" to have TT FW on it, it really get's you nothing. AND it's only possible on 1k PSPs, none else. Basically it's getting the update unpacked and the files in the flash, you also want an armed Pandora for bringing the PSP back to a "working" state, since you can't just run an OFW updater while on TT FW.
Yeah. This is possible. I've got 6.00 Testing Tool Firmware running on my retail 1000. PM me if you wanna know how its done, or for screenshots/proof, etc.
You can't. Why don't you just use retail FW to play retail games? :shrug: Yeah, that's the point made throughout this whole thread. TT FW on retail PSP is more than useless, it gives you the worth of a bricked PSP - you can't even put retail on it again w/o Pandora....
