    Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a official DS flash cart and I have been trying to figure out how to lock/unlock it?

It is unlocked, I believe? But I am curious how to lock and then unlock? Do you need to do it in the IS Nitro Debugger program?

It seems to have a picture on the back explaining, but I don't really know what to do exactly?

Sorry this may be a dumb question. If someone could please let me know, I would appreciate it.

    Thanks for listening.

If it's like the GBA dev cart then it's a small jumper you can move using a small screwdriver, in the OFF state it's read only, in the ON state it's read and write enabled.

    Hello everyone,

splith, thanks for responding. I have been looking on the device for something like that, I just can't exactly though?

On the previous development carts, was the jumper labeled with a down arrow? It doesn't look like a jumper or a normal jumper I guess?

If you happen to know or have a picture of it or even of the older generation, that would really help.

I will try to translate what is on the back of the cart, it is Japanese and even if I translate it with Google or something, I know that Japanese is written in ways where words mean different things depending on context. I will try tomorrow.

Thanks for responding and listening. I really appreciate it.

    Hello everyone,

splith, thanks for responding. I have been looking on the device for something like that and I found it.

It is located on the device, you have to take the device cover off and there is the switch. I thought it would be on the outside of the device where you don't take the cover off. Dumb me.

Thanks splith, I appreciate the help and thanks for listening.
