I repack the DLC content with xlast and installed on XDK successfully. The DLC content was recognized in the Dashboard.

Then I tried to apply a Title Update to the origin game. I tried two ways below:

    1. I extract the TU package with wxpirs and patch the original default.xex with the default.xexp inside the TU by xextool. Then I copy the new default.xex and the rest content inside the TU to the origin game directory. I run the new xex: for the first time, the DLC content was recognized but during loading process, crashed. After the first time, whatever I tried, with or without the new xex, no DLC recognize, I don't know why, but still crashing.

    2. I repack the AutoUpdate package with the origin xex and the patched xex by xlast and add the rest resource file manually. When I try to run the original xex, the TitleUpdate was recognized but an error occurred when loading the xex.

I just want to know is there any steps were wrong, can someone figure it out? Thanks:nod:

This varies between games. Tell us what game you are trying to do a TU/dlc pkg for.

Your issue is likely that you didn't do the title update correctly. Rebuilding the DLC with XLAST should get the job done, for pretty much all games (some games are picky about the image used with as the icon, and wxpirs doesn't extract that) so your likely issue is with the way you did the title update.

I agree. The game is GTA4, base version is 0.0.0.6, and the TU I tried to apply is version 0.0.5.6. I used xextool 5.2 to do the patch, is that correct? or is there any additional steps? or is there any other tools to get the job done? thanks!

How did I know it was gta, lol.

You can't apply tids the way you want to. You have to make them by hand, and the tools to do this aren't public.
