I have the x-arcade dual stick. The idea about changing the sticks to a different kind, maybe Sanwa sticks is gradially growing stronger and stronger. Initially I thought the standard sticks in it were pretty good. It works very well for run and gun type of games like Gunlord... but for beat em ups, not so much. The sticks don´t feel accurate enough and I have trouble performing super moves on Garou: MoTW. Has someone described with pictures the process of changing a stick in one of these? Which stick should I order for fighting games such as Garou and Street Fighter 2? I will probably also change the buttons at some point but to keep things simple, first it is just one of the two sticks. Do I need to solder?

I'm not too familiar with the parts used in an X-Arcade, but if it's anything like the control panels in the arcade machines I've worked on the joysticks and buttons would just need to be unscrewed and unplugged and then most other sticks or buttons should fit without any extra work.

As for which stick to use, it all just really comes down to your own personal preference.
