This is something I learned while searching for a way to play FM Towns format audio files from games, so I thought I'd share: First, get the KB Media Player: http://home7.highway.ne.jp/Kobarin/KbMIDI/kbmidi.htm Install it. If you downloaded it to your desktop, it will try to unpack/install right there in a nice little folder you can move later. Japanese text will be garbage if you don't have Japanese support or App Locale, so just click OK. Then, go to this page and download the plugin for EUP: EUP player for MS-Windows (95 or later): http://kobe.cool.ne.jp/fmt/eupwin/eupwin.htm The link above contains a standalone command line program, and the plugin below it, written "plugin" in katakana so here's the actual link you want: http://kobe.cool.ne.jp/fmt/kbmplugin_eup.lzh Unpack the contents (recommend latest 7zip for all of these japanese files like lzh, etc) and drop the eup plugin folder into the Plugins folder. Your directory for the plugin should look like this: kbmed241\Plugins\kbmplugin_eup Now, go here for a sample: http://www.boreas.dti.ne.jp/~nudi-drm/ - See DRMSXSoundwork on the menu bar, then navigate down to FM Towns. Download "Highway Star" to a folder. DRAG AND DROP the EUP file into an open KB Media Player. Viola! FM Towns music (well the kind they used when they didn't just use CD audio track type music, that is)! I'll probably use SoundCapture w/ LAME to reencode a bunch of music from ISOs I have if anyone is interested, then put them up in a torrent or something (only old abandonware type - though unless I'm mistaken that's most FM Towns games). Unfortunately my collection of ISOs is very limited. If only I'd held on to my massive FM Towns purchases and hadn't gone to Sofmap to trade them in on a regular basis...:crying: Many FM Towns games have EUP sound files right on the disc if you have one...
