how to play NTSC nes games on a PAL console ?

    hi, does anyone know if there is a converter cartridge to play ntsc games on a pal NES console , and if so where to buy one. i have heard about a mod you can do , but am a little unsure of my technical skills. any help would be appreciated, :smile-new:

    the mod is easy, I've never seen an adapter, the mod also makes it easier to get pal games to load

    Yes very easy, cut pin 4 on the "10NES" chip. Google cut pin 4 10NES and there will be pics, youtube clips etc. I have this done to mine (Australian PAL), but note not all NTSC (as in American games) games will work, I have 1 or 2 that refuse to work (allthough they could be faulty, but have no way of knowing as I don't have a US console).

    it's the best you'll get without ridiculous work. ntsc games iirc will stay 50hz. :(
