You'll need the Drive Linker files (linked), the modded compatibility files (in same link) and I'm hoping your 360 XDK is not an early model, because should it be a Xenon or Zephyr mobo I also suggest the fan speed files (will be loud but will never have it kill itself due to heat). Note that the compatibility is not perfect, some games work, others dont. Some games that shouldn't work will work sometimes, other times they can run but very poorly. http://www.mediafire.com/download/p83wjvro525x4qa/Xbox+360.rar Use drive linker, will appear to do nothing, but it did. Reboot the 360 and reconnect with 360 Neighborhood and you'll have access to the Y drive. Once in the Y drive be sure nothing is there. Place the compatibility folder into it (so Y:\Compatibility\[array of files here]) and then test what you can.
Pictures please? I assume this is an XNA kit. Also be sure to black out any barcodes or serial numbers if one shows up in a picture.
You don't need the linker, First up im going to assume your HDD does not have the compatibility partition so you will need to run HDDX Fixer. http://1drv.ms/1WCDngr Next up get xex menu and the hacked compatibility files from here and place them on USB or in your HDD. http://digiex.net/downloads/downloa...mpatibility-v5829-november-2007-download.html Now after running the HDDX fixer and rebooting the system just run xex menu then copy the compatibility folder and paste it into HDD X. One more reboot and all OG Xbox games will boot even retail disks but keep in mind that not all will work correctly.
^This^ I dunno why this was even a 10 message reply for something simple. Drop hacked compatibility files into HDDX through xex menu. Wash, rinse, repeat and restart. Now the kit plays xbe on HDD and retail Xbox original discs. DONE.
