this thread is really getting interesting now...as for me, I always searched for a boy who respects my love of videogames (I'm a #1 Nintendo fan, but like Sega and any other cool gaming platform too), so count me in too
I don't think it would fly. I seem to remember someone (me) making a thread simply to determine the gender ratio on ASSEMblergames. It was promptly deleted. I think it would be difficult (for most people) to date someone without knowing their gender. But if the mods would allow it, I would be all for it.
Your wife is beautiful Spence ! And she laugh it in the good way. Good choice getting the dreamcast, they were the best console at it own time. It feel like the Dreamcast has just been release. My girlfriend hates me playing video game which I spend more time playing video game than spending time with her. It goes saying when Call of duty release each year the teen pregnancy rate is decreased ! Well done boys
I can't see what the big deal is with that? It's not like you're required to post in the thread saying "Male/Female". Oh well. I can't really see myself in a long distance relationship, hardly ever work out although it has for some. Maybe if I actually did have money maybe. If there ever was a girl in love with gaming here I'd try my best to get to know her more, just I doubt there'd be any females from Melbourne here lol.
Alright, I see...maybe we should do it via PMs then...I'd be happy to get a nice message but for who don't know, I'm a girl and my username is my real name too.
my wife hates the time i spend for gaming. at least it was so till she played tetris on my backlit gba sp. she became addicted to it. now she is not so angry with me whenever i buy retro stuff. she still tries to convince me to buy a wii-u, 3ds or any other current gen consoles instead of retro stuff though. so some simpler games might just do the trick to kindle a retro gaming love in one's heart.
This thread is taking a weird tangent.... looks like it has become the lonely hearts thread... Dreamcast - Bringing people together....
that is only like a 40 minute drive! that is not far away and if it was you should just move in together?
i was in a "long distance" relationship for about a year, the distance wasnt that long but due to geography i had to either take a plane or ferry / boat between belfast(north of ireland) and liverpool(england) about 140 miles or something like that 25-30 min flight lol but also some people don't drive and have to rely on public transport etc which can complicate / make things take longer / restrict travelling times.
I dont mind having the limited ed Resident evil Code V dreamcast for birthday presents...it will be totally CRAZY!
My lady is turning into a serious gamer. We've been together for a couple of years now. First anniversary present was a PS2 and many Japanese games. She's also very much into 16 bit RPGs and the such, and obviously a fan of Mario and Pac-Man. Right now, we're doing Oboro Muramasa together. She's quite a catch, it seems. She'd be happy to get a Dreamcast, too. Good idea for a Christmas gift. Yes, she's marriage material.
Then you need to lock that shit down mate! "If you like it... ring on it.. etc..." congrats on finding a someone who is as into games as you are.
