xbmovie/your ip or name of your console/F1,2,3,4,5 or 6.wmv

Its personal preference as to which format you use and which formats
your sdk will allow you to use

( SDK is required to use this Method)

DO NOT ASK FOR THE SDK OR WHERE TO GET IT
Not all formats work on all SDKs
You can specify where to save it your video

I would do a /? first, Just to see whats there. Like I had to figure which one was record whatever resolution I was playing and leave it. It would have kept trying to Re-Render to 720p waisting time, Resources etc.

    But yea, nice.

    I just go..
    xbmovie /X:devname /F:formatnumber <filename to save to>
    example:
    xbmovie /X:Xenon /F:4 testmovie.wmv

Not all formats work on all SDKs by the way bob. And it doesnt need to save to that win32 folder. You can specify to save it to "C:\movie.wmv" for example.

    tried yesterday..

    1. xbmovie /X:<name> /F:4 name.xbm (press any button to start rec.)
    2. after recording (xbmovie /C:name.xbm name.wmv) to convert it on your local system

works fine ;) except he video ratio.. was a little width like 16:6 ^^ or something.

You will have to try each option 1-6 and see what works best for you

Sorry for the bump but why is my audio out of sync with the video + the frame rate is quite bad. I used '2' as the format number and the quality is great.
I am using the stock 20gb HDD and may use a faster one stated in the post above.
    Anyone know a solution?
