Heh. I'm sure PSP sales might go up slightly for the diehard FF fans. I'm still not finished with FF Origins.
I picked up the GBA port for 10$, and hardly found that to worth it's money. Needless to say, this is really sad.
Wow!!! 20 year old games released AGAIN is SOOO cool. Jesus. I've neve seen such a 2-dimensional company (and I mean that in a bad way). Squenix releases one non-RPG a year, and they're heralded as geniuses.
that's no jennifer lopez my little friends, this is the one and only Carmen Electra (she is, imo , the best looking woman of her age, world-wide )
I can understand a port of Final Fantasy Tactics, but what the hell? I mean, I dare say it is very possible to fit all 6 of the 2D Final Fantasy games on one UMD in a collection.
So, the PSP version of FF1 is going to be the same as the PS1 version? Its a port of a remake, lol. I really liked the first FF, though. By the way, I've heard a lot of people say the GBA version of FF1 and FF2 was made a lot easier, but they added a few new dungeons. Can anyone confirm / deny this? I'm with JasonKhowell. Someone needs to make a FF 1-6 compilation (with the NES FFIII if possible) Anyways, the PSP putting the 2d FF games on it is NOT a stupid move, imo. I'm somewhat surprised they didn't do it sooner. I mean come on, FF is big money and has a really large fanbase. Just like Mario games are big money and Nintendo has tons of fans who are willing and able to buy them. What Sony really needs to do is release FF7 on the PSP and / or remake it for the PS3 with an upgraded graphics engine and maybe add some new material and rewrite the story a bit. Now THAT would sell PS3s.
