Simple question right? Well it is. You'd ship it in another box. Not a bag, like the moron did to me. Finally I could afford Perfect Dark sealed and it came crushed on one side.

Do a paypal claim. This is just unacceptable. Get a refund and buy another one.

Thanks ASSEMbler, I sent the prick a message. If he doesn't reply that's just what I might do.

I bet he'll come back and say pay for the return.

    Oh he replied:

Lesson learned I guess? I always request that the seller ship in a box, and no you can't expect a seller to automaticly ship minty stuff in a box... simple fact.

I should of pushed for that yes, but look what Kev did, he asked for his system to be packed well, and still was poorly boxed.
    Some people just don't think.

Something doesn't feel right. This seller wants me to ship the game back first, then he'll refund me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Some people are born dick heads. They then blaim the post office. Well, yeah if the box was kick to hell then you could say it was the fault of the post office but to pack a card boxed game in a bag is just stupid. Saying that, in Japan you can get away with doing just that but here is a special exception.

I'm thinking of opening a claim. I don't like the idea of sending something without the original money. Should I open the claim or what? It just doesn't add up.

EDIT:It's most likely gonna cost me $10 to ship this, hope it's less. The idiot can have it posted in a bag as well. If I don't get the refund, I'll then open up the claim.

Uhm.... You wont get a refund before you ship it back. Even paypal will tell you to ship it back before a refund - thats how it works.

You cant expect ANYONE to refund you before they have the item back, because you could just keep the item.

This is what you are supposed to do:

Open a paypal dispute as SNAD (not as described)
Wait for their response, which should be "ship back and ill refund"
    send it back recorded
    enter tracking details in paypal.

I'll be posting it some time tomorrow, I'll get it with tracking. Hopefully this doesn't happen again soon.

To answer the topic: in a box as stiffly as possible. Preferably sheet metal but then shipping would be cost prohibitive.

What you do is put it in bubble, and a small box. Then you pack that in peanuts in a larger box.
