Probably KOTOR... It's one of the few game's that I've played to the end, most get boring 1/2way through.
What an ending. You beat Mr X into submission then rescue your buddies all while a tender 16bit song plays. So simple and yet rewarding. No late post credits sequence to let you know that the huge douche you played the entire game through to beat down somehow overcame the odds and will be back for part 17:cash in. This game honestly could've ended here and it would have been perfect. They followed up with a solid third game and a great proto that was never released.
The sound on that YouTube clip was messed up I thought. The real game sounds much nicer or at least it did on my 360.
Yeah the sound is messed up I found one with clearer sound since. But it lacks the Achivement/Trophy popping up.
I read the thread title and I knew it had to be Double Dragon Neon. What a great game. Love the soundtrack.

To this day I still watch the whole credits and Ive beated in dozens of times. The final message at the end still give me goosebumps. The best ending for me was in Shadow of the Colossus. I know it is a totally different genre in this thread about funny/arcade endings but its such a great game and remarkable piece of digital art.
