I've noticed that there are a fair few of these units going reasonably cheap on Ebay and I'm tempted. Having never played on one or even played Fatal Fury on the PSX I am unsure whether I should* invest the time, effort and space to super gun it. So I throw it out to you kind folks; What games are worthwhile? How do they compare to similar gen (3d) games on other arcade platforms?etc etc Cheers JK
I did have all 4 of the "normal" game and the only one which is "new and different" from classic NeoGeo is Buriki One.
Samurai Spirits is pretty awesome. Not as awesome as the highlights of the series (2-4), but still great for a 3D weapon fighter. HNG's aren't too expensive and if you have the spare money for a really neat-looking arcade thingy to collect, you may like to buy one. I still want to get the Mobo+Samurai Spirits and maybe one or two other games as the kits are cheap as well -> tempting.
Hello It's very hard to answer, you sould try them personaly my best is Burriki one, after i play some time with SS2
I enjoyed my time with mine (check out my huge thread in the SNK forum). Make sure you grab a revision two model if you do get one. JAMMA compatibility makes life so much easier.
This I agree with. If NG64 had been given more of a chance, it would probably have done quite well. It is a shame that SNK went the way it did. Has anyone played the second Samurai Showdown 64? Was it just an upgrade board, or a fully new game?
