Hi, I didn't introduce myself before I posted two outlawed posts. I apologize. I am a game developer/web developer. Honestly, i joined with the intention of selling my stuff, but unfortunately i can't yet. I am for free trade. I'm also for great UI design. As game developer, I can say Nintendo is probably the one making the most money with their licensing fees. Then the publishers, whole-sellers, distributors, and everyone else getting their cut. It's a pain developing Nintendo games with the limitations of the ds and wii. The ps3 is also somewhat limiting, the way they force developers to use low level coding. In my experience, Xbox is probably easiest to develop for. XNA is also not that restricting. As a web developer, I had very much pleasure to develop with ruby on rails. Ruby is freaking easy. Python sucks, it has suffocating rules. PHP sucks, anyone can write crap and it will work. That's just my opinion. Anyone can become a game developer or web developer. Just learn with free resources on the web and start doing your own projects. Once you start working for larger companies, you can probably expect to start disliking your profession. Small startups are the way to go, you get more fulfillment and you play a larger role.
hi, nice to meet you nitro live and learn. 50 posts first, i don't agree with the rules but they are the rules though if you had something exceptional me thinks the assembler would snipe the other members and buy it for himself before it was posted on here just an opinion anyway look forward to seeing more of your posts take it easy
'PHP sucks, anyone can write crap and it will work' I kinda don't get your opinion, you're saying you like lauguages that are hard, generally fail and have random unreproducable errors to things that are easy, secure and work fine across multiple platforms?
We don't want people of zero reputation using this place to offload something of questionable validity. I personally highly approve of this and wish more websites would do the same. And is it really wrong to think that the head honcho might want to get in on something special given it is his site? So long as he pays a fair price and doesn't railroad anyone why complain.
Well participation is highly valued here. People come here to cash in on the members, hence the 1st post rule.
