I bought a Fuze F1 (new chinese console)

    How much did you pay and where did you get it? I live very close to Shenzhen and would consider popping across to pick one up if it's reasonably priced. Especially if you can install regular android apps or if it has the basics I need. I have an android box for nearly every screen in the house but one that was actually decent for gaming, I'd be willing to shell out extra for that.

    I paid retail which is 899 Yuan. Sadly you can't buy in store (from what I know) and have to have it shipped to an address since the only distributions atm are direct from the seller or buying off taobao.

    If you're just wanting a high end android box and are willing to pay extra, then get the Shield TV instead (uses the x1 chipset which is more powerful then the k1 in this system). I'm still not 100% sure you can or are allowed to install android apps.

    I guess I should have specified that I'd be willing to pay a little extra. I'm not willing several times as much as a basic android box. Good point on the chipset though. Probably best to wait for a Chinese X1 system.
