Didn't notice there was more than one picture there (derp). Looking at the first one, I thought, "That's an HP judging by the status LEDs... but those should be covered by the screen when it's closed..." Assuming this was from eBay, can you post the original auction page? I'm just curious how it was described/depicted.
ouch, I'd be raging over the phone and hunting the seller down..that thing looks like someone took a bite out of it.
Wow, I'm lost for words. It's like someone with no common sense has watched the Macbook Air/envelope commercial too many times and thought it was an acceptable way to ship it. :banghead:
that reminds me that i once went to uzgames in west plaza mall (brazil), one of the clerk went to take a game that the store ordered, it was a batman arkham asylum for ps3. the left tip of the post and the game box were torn apart, sounds like the postman had troubles with a dog.
What is it with you and shipping! Is it just an American problem or do you just buy way too much stuff? :O
I've had troubles with shipping in the US, but nothing near the level of disaster that ASSEMbler apparently experiences on a regular basis. I don't know if it's pure chance or what, but it's not normal.
Too bad you didn't get insurance. At this time, with all of the packages going through the mail, there's a higher likelihood of a package getting lost/damaged.
I think ASSEMbler may just be having some shitty luck or receives an ungodly amount of items in the mail. I probably receive 20 packages a month through the post and the only time I had a problem was when some kid sold me a Saturn that was sent without any padding in the box. The Saturn was fine though. The most that ever happens is that the occasional Netflix gets eaten.
I once ordered some vinyl and they were wrapped into a towel with a naked woman on it. I didn't mind though, I use that towel to this day as packaging material for my archived stuff. :033:
