A colleague saw this ad in a free London paper last night Basically, Do you play on a handheld games console? Are you a man? Are you 40+? Do you commute? Then guess what? A leading games manafacturer wants you to appear in their next TV ad. So e-mailed them, they have e-mailed them back and they want to see me this afternoon/early evening The company is Kream http://www.kreamlondon.com/casestudies/nintendo-uk/index.aspx And they as you can see have done a few Nintendo ad`s over recent times This is always a helper though for anything , from the ladies e-mail I am seeing today Would it be possible for you to come in to our office either today or tomorrow to have a quick chat and we can explain a bit more? At the moment we are getting a collection of people and then Nintendo will choose a few to film and those people will get £1000 for 1 days filming. So will keep you all posted!!!! Only downsider I can possibly see is I am on 2 weeks holiday from Saturday
Well went to see the company last night - was videod for about 12-13 minutes with me talking about the ds abnd what I play, where I play, do I recommend it etc etc. I really sold the DS for it`s innovation and longevity so hopefully my enthusiam for the product may have helped. They are looking to get 4-5 people and then have them do 4-5 slots of playing the ds with different games, like the cooking game, not cooking mama the other recipe type game and some of those type games, the 100 classic books etc. There will be a lot for the web site including some faq details that will be incorporated into this. Then out of this they will make an advert as well. So it is possible that in a 30 second ad, your/my appearance could be in seconds. They want to to get this done quite soon and I had to tell them that I am on holiday for 2 weeks from Saturday. They didn`t seem to reject it / me straight away, but you know when you get that feeling. So I should hear hopefully today but I am working on it being a NO and anything else will be a result. Fingers crossed!!
