I Downlaod Sonic Xtreme from a thread on this website but now I can't get it to run properly in Gens. I have the bios files for Gens and when I try and load it I get the Saga logo with the planet in the background and the music, it then however jumps to a sceen with a CD player looking device, drawn in a low colour depth where there seems to be no way forward into the game. Help what am I doing wrong?

Your obvious problem is that it's a Sega Saturn game, not SegaCD.

I think this is a trick post. For a start if you ran a Saturn image in GENS you wouldn't get anything. In fact GENS wouldn't even open the file because it would be a CD Image file, right?

Well, wouldn't the emulator show the Sega CD spash screen...you know...with that jolly tune that plays?

Because you don't have a real Halcyon and a cardboard mock up made from a cornflake box isn't the same?

I'm not a trick user and not trying to trick anyone, what I wrote is what happened.

Is this a good sorce for DL? I tried there offical site (got link from the wiki article on them) but it apears to be all in another languege.

Its not obvious at all, most sonic games run on Gens and the few that don't tend to work when you have the Gens bios files set up.

THis is a Sega Saturn game so it won't run on GENS. That doesn't work Sega Saturn games. You need either a real Saturn or the SSF Emulator.

u ll need to produce a CD with the desired content and insert it in the drive that you have defined in your settings as the console's emulated drive.

I don't intend to sound nasty or anything, but isn't it more fun trying to find how it works yourself? Do some background reading and guessing, is my advice, therein lies more satisfaction and less legal liability;p
