Well I finally, got myself a Sony DTL-H2000. I have been wanting one for such a long time. Actually, a Yaroze is what I have been wanting since I was 12 or so, but now I know they are useless. Anyway, the reason I got it, was because I got it very cheap. How cheap? Try $60.00 USD, $57.90 AUD
I offered him $80usd and he accepted that but I couldn't afford to pay him cause things came up. Glad someone from the scene got them.
And you've got an ISA capable machine to use this with? Or will I be seeing this later mounted in a glass case in front of crushed velvet?
Are you crazy! Of course I have a case and an ISA compatible board!! I have been waiting for a PS1 DTL for ages. I will be using it a lot and not just letting it sit there as a collector item. I will make a video sometime when I have time.............
Is this the one I saw on ebay for $200 BIN OBO? If so, I cant believe the seller went down so low. Very lucky  The A/V cable is very easy to make, so powering the card up should be easy enough. Though, good luck setting the thing up. pain in the ass. Everytime I change the settings to make this card the default, and then open any sn-systems programs, my entire pc just freezes. but then if I default to the DTL-H2500 all is good... So yeah, good luck. Will be awesome once you get it set up and working correctly, I'm sure you'll put it to good use. I'm guessing you only got the 2 boards, and no other parts such as the DTL-H2010 cd-rom drive?
The very same one that was going for $200 BIN OBO Yeah, I ordered some RS232 plugs and plastic houses so I can make a really neat cable for it. I have a whole box full of PS1 analog controllers, so I will also wire these up too. Nope. No CD-ROM drive. Would be so awesome if it did. If I need help (which I most likely will), then I will ask you Cyberghost. Thanks buddy
Too bad... I've been looking for the drives (though, primarily for the internal DTL-H2510) for over a year already. :banghead: And I probably wouldn't be the best one to ask for help for that board, I cant even get mine working right  There's way more knowledgeable people here, who are even responsible for helping me set up my 2500. But I did do something interesting when it came to the controllers
Thanks Ricky. However, the manuals and drivers can be found within the official Sony Programmers Tool CD-ROM (came with the PSY-Q download on Snesorama known as the PSXSDK), ripped by FATIGUE. http://psdev.psio.com.au/downloads.html C:\Playstation\PSY-Q SDK\Psxsdk\Devrefs\Dtlh2000.pdf C:\Playstation\PSY-Q SDK\Psxsdk\psx\bin\DTLH2000
