Was it complete? Raptor card, boxed etc? Looks like a DVT4 from the jewel, any info on the underside of the unit?

Your not in the UK by any chance are you?

You can if you have the XDK software on the PC side, be careful though. Would be a shame to brick the system.

There is a bios that will let you run retail games, homebrew and back ups. Look for Hack-devkit-GueuX-V2.rar un the usual places, not used it myself yet but i'm told it works very well.

Well it's not really FTP, on the build of the XDK I do have it's called Xbox Explorer. It's a simple as connecting the xbox to your network, setup network settings on the XDK dash then use Xbox Explorer to connect to the IP address you assign to the unit.

But to install the XDK on the PC side you need VC++ 6 or above. Did the unit come with any disks?

I don't think it runs games at higher FPS.

You would have to find a source for it, the usual places won't have it. Bets bet might be usenet?

Well any site advertising a direct link would probably be in the crap with MS, so I doubt you will find a download link for XDK on google.

    Erm, not that i've seen.

    What I did was roughly:

    1. Plug XDK unit into network
    2. Alter network settings on the XDK to match my network
    3. Install XDK PC Software
    4. Open XBOX Explorer
    5. Connect to the IP address the XDK shows on the TV.
    6. Should connect near instantly, then just browse the drives from there.

I'm pretty sure you will need it to conect to an XDK.

Yes but you need the PC XDK software as well.
