So I installed Test Drive 6, a game I got a long long time ago (it's trademarked 1999, I probably got it then or in 2000). Lots of fun memories, especially that there's a few lampposts you can go straight through. So I install the game. It won't load, I need a dll file. Fine, I download it, place it in the right places. Then I need another, fine, go get it, put it in the right places. The game finally loads up. I make it all the way to the first race, and then... This happens. I have no idea what caused it, but I'm guessing it's an issue with the graphics driver.
What even is that? I can't understand it. Luckily for you at least, YOU HAVE A NEO GEO MVS IN YOUR BEDROOM, LUCKYYYYY TD6 isn't the best game. One particular thing I remember fondly from when I played it properly is (something I already mentioned). Basically the cars all look like toy cars, but I got it for like $10 at Wal-Mart in 2000, or 2001, and unlike a lot of PC games, my computer could play it, because it met the requirements. Why system requirements are still a pain in the butt even now I'll never figure out.
I got hit by a Skultua and it was spinning and link was getting hit and knocked into a corner so he was constantly getting hit. and it wasn't even taking away health...but I also don't have that Neo Geo anymore, I sold it back in 2011.
I can see the car model, it's a weird rendering problem, the car frame normals are reversed, but some of the faces are totally screwed up. Have you tried to run on the compatibility mode?
This happened to me yesterday. Ultima V for PC (via DOSbox), I had gotten the shard and I didn't feel like blinking across the underworld back to Hyloth and climbing it so I used the moongate spell. This happened. I was supposed to be placed on a single moongate near the town and not a room full of moongates. Just after taking the SS above, I was ported as I stood on the open gate too long, ended up on level 1 of Dungeon Deciet and when I used Uus Por (go one level up to exit), the game crashed. I've played U5 on and off for about 20 years, this has never happened to me. Never had glitched U5 before.
Well that's just a normal, everyday occurrence. There should be a "beware, falling horse" sign though.
No screenshot, as it is a memory. I remember a glitch in one of the first Need for Speed games on PC... either the original, SE or NFSIISE, or one of the optimized ones that came with a graphics card... Anyways, it was one where you couldn't leave the track. Even if there was some open field off to the side, you couldn't go drive there due to invisible walls. Well there was a part where there was some buildings on the sides and a bridge you drive over. It is possible to leave the track by hitting the last building and your car drives off the side of the bridge and falls into the pit... which IIRC leads to a crash/freeze of the system.
