This a quite random post, but man, I had never been in a train which was this freaking EMPTY: I mean, where in the damn hell is everyone? Has a H bomb fallen in my city and I haven't noticed or something? h: This is the common scene here: And that is half empty. Usually it's the double of that. </random>
I know what you mean mate, it's really freaky. I've been the ONLY one on a train before now which in Japan is something very special. I posted some pictures in the Japan picture section of the board if you fancy taking a look. yakumo
ah yes, That picture above is my day as a train owner where I got to kick everyone off. That was a very strange experience for sure. Yakumo
I regularly see empty trains  Especially at night most of them look like the ones above. :icon_bigg
My train is empty every time I enter it as my station is almost at the beginning of the journey. Also at night, every train looks like the one on your picture. The only difference is maybe that I don't really notice my loneliness as in german trains there are no benches on each side but rows of seats:
Is not empty, is just that the Matrix is out of RAM and it cant render all the people... Seriously tought, I'll rather be in an empty train than in a full one during rush hour. I'll tell you, you havent experienced hell until you're fighting for a seat with some dumbass suit and have to stay up during the entire 2 hour trip... Anyway, this goes to show why the ever fuel efficient trains arent so IRL. Most calculations of said fuel numbers take in consideration that the train is always full, reason why is more efficient that cars and airplanes. IMO the future is all about personal public transportation, like those pods they're making for a UK airport, or the electric cars from MIT.
some final destination shit's going to happena nd the entire thing will like some how, in a subway, derail and you'll die. shit like that is a sign to GTFO
That's weird. I think Shadowlayer is right. Yesterday: Rio Subway Rio SuperVia Urban Trains Both should have been filled with people!
This topic turned out quite interesting! Sadly I have nothing to contribute since I did not use the train in quite a long while. Especially since I started working only from home it has become quite a rare event.
I think the matrix had a system failure again, 5 minutes ago. The new interior looks great. They are doing the renovation of all systems, interior looks and acoustic protection (now inside the carriage, there's no noise, it's very quiet) As for comparison, check the older look:
