As no americans will mention it, today is the 45th aniversary of Martin Luther Kings famous 'I have a dream' speech. One of the defining moments in history.
i love his quote. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." i hate niggers, but i like black people.
I doubt that many knew about it with all the other news like Ted Kennedy and the fact is its not the most significant birthday. Im sure it will have more coverage on the 50th in 2013. With google likely issuing a logo image to it like today with MJ birthday which would of been nice for this event yesterday. EDIT: Actually the real reason is prob because it is the 46th year and not 45 http://campaignstops.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/08/28/i-have-a-dream-45-years-later/
I'm honestly too busy at work lately....I don't even know what day of the week it is sometimes, let alone national holidays.
