I have a xploder HDTV player (for PS2) and Gamecuve VGA cable ....

.... that I want to sell. what are going prices at the moment?

The Xploder hdtv (for the playstation 2) consists of the CD, booklet, component cable and box of course. The full set.

This Gamecube VGA cable is based on a Japanese d-sub Gamecube cable.

The only problem with those VGA cables that were made from D-terminal cables are the fact they do not display 480i. Only the 480p content. You have to wait with a black screen until the progressive mode is activated. So if the game does not support progressive mode you can not use that cable.

I guess you mean RGB as in component? Yes, could be. fortunatel I already have a GC Component cable for my launchday Gamecube.

I have one of these cables and can say that this is BS.

It works just the the component cables, but with slightly higher quality.

That means your TV or monitor accepts 480i from VGA input.

Now I'm curious, try playing a 50hz only game. It'd be fun to see 576i from a cable intended for 480p.

I withdrew my comment. I thought that it worked in 480i because the Qoob menu popped up, nice and bright. But then I realized that I have set the Qoob menu to 480p. I then tried to play NBA Street (480i) bu I only got some garbage on the screen.
