Has any really interesting news come about since maybe January. I figured it'd be fun to recall anything worth noting. (In terms of X360 and Wii) I've been so busy with school I've had to stop checking kotaku 24/7 like I used to.
Well, Max Payne 3 was announced for the 360 (and also for PC and PS3) and for that's the most important 360 news.
The only surprising thing about the Wii is maybe that there's still NOTHING in the pipe on Nintendo's side. No Mario, no Zelda, no Metroid, no shit. But they are going to have that voice talk crap soon, WELL DONE. I can't figure out what their tactic is. I still see Wii Sports ad on TV, this game is more than 3 years old now. I don't remember seeing Super Mario Sunshine spots in 2005, so what's the matter Big N? >_< Sorry for the rant, I can't stand it anymore how they are exploiting their success with casual gaming shit.
Is this a surprise? Proper Mario games for the N64: 1. Proper Mario games for the Gamecbue: 1. Where the fuck is Pikmin 3 is what I want to know. The only real Nintendo IP I really miss. I would even wave around that damn Wiimote for it.
There's always the re-release of Pikmin I guess... You could get an RSS reader to check Kotaku and stuff for you ya know...
yeah, you can wave around the Wiimote in the Pikmin re-release. i bet that'd be loads of fun. i could care less what Nintendo brings out in the next year or two. their best games are already made. i'll just stick to those. sorry for all the Nintendo hate, i'm usually not an angry person. lol.
I don't even get what a wiimote would do to Pikmin. Yeah, there are plenty of Wii games I want to play but not a lot of must haves I'm afraid.
I enjoy how Nintendo's pissing off the non-casual crowd this generation. I'm dead serious. Granted, that means less titles I'd want to play... but oh well. I guess I have other current platforms and previous ones, Nintendo included, to fall back on for that. Henceforth in whatever direction you want, Nintendo! I'll follow blindly like a lemming! (I still disprove of some of the company's decisions and tactics. I don't consider myself a fanboy as I couldn't stand to center myself to one platform anymore.)
No More Heroes is pretty good but it wouldn't make me buy a Wii really. I played half of it last week. It is cool though. I do like House of the Deads and the Resident Evils on the Wii, but 4 really is just a port....the controls are rock solid though, but still.
No More Heroes isn't all that great honestly. Just like Killer7, it has great art direction and a pretty interesting storyline, but both of them are full of bad design choices that make them incredibly frustrating.
