I ordered 2 SNES controllers, and i got some pretty shitty ones, IDK if they even work, but damn that sucks Hah, i just noticed something, all the serial numbers are the same
why would you order controllers? I mean, its not like you cannot buy some for cheap at your local pawn shop, and even try them.
Speaking of controllers, does anybody know a reputable site where I could order some Super Famicom controllers? I've never had one, and I love the color scheme. Pawn shop controllers are usually dirty.
I just bought a duke controller, a genesis controller, and a nes controller for $20 from a game store. The duke controller had coke on the inside, and the genesis controller was chewed up by a dog.
coke as in the drink, or coke as in the power? Loose controllers are very common here, especially in the black market. I've seen millions of dirty or broken controllers, especially third party stuff I can't even begin to recognise. Fun stuff.
I recently bought a Sega Genesis Megafire controller for .99 Also paid 32.50 on ebay for a genny 2, 2 standard controllers, 11 games(most of which are decent), and the first party wireless controllers.
There are a lot of poorly made SNES controllers out there for very cheap right now. Some even claim to be legit SNES controllers in a Mario/Yoshi box but are cheap knockoffs. I just ordered a couple on EBay that I've read are actually of good quality, will keep you guys posted when they arrive. I'm hesitant to order used controllers, as growing up I would use other people's controllers and the buttons had no action left in them. I guess if you order enough controllers, you'll be able to make a decent working one
I remember my brother use to have the launch snes set with super mario world. Now those controllers are disasterous. One of them had a broken R button while the other cord would easily detatch from the board inside and would constantly have to be opened up and reconnected. Did i mention that the plastic that was in the ac adaptor port ended up getting stuck inside the ac adaptor prong, exposing the metal prong that was orignally surrounded by the plastic, god that use to be ridiculess to get in. After he sold it, I got a free one from my cousin. Though the unit itself has dicolorization common with most snes as well as pretty dirty.Meanwhile one pad had the button letter covering missing while the other looked like that portion had been partialy chewed by a dog. As yo can tell I have yet to really own or use a snes system that is in perfect shape or doesnt have issues with controllers discounting or shoulder buttons breaking.
