Didnt even know about this until today, but thanks to Borman's site i just found out that they are working on a new Metroid game for the Wii. Its being developed by Team Ninja ( Ninja Gaiden ). After reading about it and seeing the screenies i googled it and found a trailer ( google " metroid other m"). SIMPLY FUCKING AMAZING!!! Literally sent chills down my spine. I have not been looking forward to a game so much since Resident Evil 4, and Super Metroid is still my favorite game to this day, so go figure:lol:. As much as i loved the Prime series, Ive always hoped they would make a 3rd person 3d Metroid ( or even 2.5d). Sorry, im a little excited about this and had to talk about it somewhere.:icon_bigg
Get ready for some tits. Well, the game industry isn't what it used to be. I try to set my expectations low. Then games are much more enjoyable.
Thats been my policy for the past few years but i cant help but have anything but high expectations for this game. I honestly think Team Ninja has what it takes to do a proper 3rd person Metroid, my only concern is i hope that they dont make it impossibly hard like some parts of NG were. As for the other thing, I have no problem with tits:thumbsup::lol:.
I think most games these days are amazingly easy, so I don't mind the difficult bits. I doubt Nintendo will stand for it though.
I completely agree, but NG1 on Xbox was one of the only games ive ever played in my life where i thought to myself on numerous occasions " WTF!?!?! Are these programmers on crack? There is no way that is possible!". Then again, maybe i just sucked at NG:lol:
I play arcade games mostly these days. Restarting a stage 1000x will always be easier than clearing a moderately difficult game on a single credit. The former I find far more annoying though.
I don't know, Team Ninja != the Team Ninja that made the Ninja Gaiden games. Without Itagaki and the rest of the main people that left with him, Team Ninja is virtually nothing now.
I hope Samus participates in some scantily clad beach volleyball. They need to take the series in another direction. I for one am tired of killing aliens and monsters ALL the time.
Well, if nothing else it'll have fantastic graphics, judging from the trailer and also from Team Ninja's previous offerings.
Im liking the look of the graphics a lot as well. Ive seen a lot of feedback about the trailers graphics online, almost all of it negative!?!?!?! I dont know how anyone could say that it doesnt look amazing.
Because it's on the Wii. The graphics may be good for the system, but that isn't saying much for the most part.
Yes its on Wii, so its not gonna have " OMG its amazing 1080P!" visuals, but for the Wii it looks really good so far. Nintendo really should have made the Wii HD, at least 720p would have made me happy. Has anyone seen any of the youtube videos of people running Wii games on a Gamecube emulator, at 1920x1080? Fucking amazing! Now if only the system could do that.
