Here's a demo of my Gameboy game. You can play it on an actual Gameboy, or in a GB emulator such as BGB. Please note that Gameboy Advance emulators will not play this, unless they support GB games as well. (I suggest BGB because it's extremely accurate) http://bootlegs.gg8.se/Nobody The name of it is: Nobody: The Story of Nothing, and it is a demo/proof of concept of my upcoming "Text Based - Choose your own Adventure" game. It's written in ANSI C and uses GBDK for compiling it into a .gb file. Soon, I will have an engine for this, so others came make their stories into games relatively easy. Let me know what you think! Screenshots (The "Nobody" Banner is not part of the game file. This is just for testing): Kudos to: Matja - Program touch ups, sound and logo screen. RoboTwo - Provided help throughout the beginning stages of game development. Beware - Provided BGB (Gameboy) emulator for testing and debugging. http://bgb.bircd.org/ Myself (Lyth) - Storyboard, Design, Programming, drinking lots of coffee, and general idea development.
Just tested this on my Android via RetroArch. Runs smooth, reminds me of Shadow Gate on NES. Short demo but I'm waiting for the full version. Nice work.
