Hey, just clicked on the link and noticed that during his 2005 tour he played the shitty Glasgow venue "The Ferry". It literally was a pontoon with a night club & venue floating out onto the river Clyde. If everyone got into the swing of things it would bob about and make you sea sick (or was that the alcohol). I hated it as if you turned around on the floor you looked out a massive glass window straight onto the river.... freaked me out! It's gone now, hopefully never to return. If he tours again and hits Glasgow then mention Carling Academy to him. Amazing acoustics, fantastic venue and gets really packed out. As for Pikkon. If you do get to Glasgow, then one venue you should consider is King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. http://www.kingtuts.co.uk/ It's a pretty intimate (yep, small) venue, but it has a good crowd and an amazing history for breaking new bands.
rock and roll another guitarist  I'm a lead guitarist in a rock band based in Birmingham UK, if you do get to come over to the UK, give me a shout and maybe we can organise something up here with both bands? just an idea...... :020:
