This is a really long shot, but I had this wallpaper about a year ago and lost it. If anyone happens to have a copy or could find it I would be eternally grateful. I'm sorry I don't have a better shot, but it's basically an underwater creature-thing of some sort: Ignore the GIMP in the foreground; I was working on an art project at the time.
I'm almost positive it's not on Interfacelift. I get a lot of wallpaper from there, and this wasn't one of them. I'll double-check, anyway. Thanks.
Digital Blasphemy? Old site (if it's even still going) but it has lots of weird stuff like that. And, tbh, a lot of better looking wallpapers than that!
I have to pay for these? Hahaha no thank you. Edit: I found the free section, but I still find the prospect of paying for computer-generated wallpaper rather silly.
Not computer-generated. Hand rendered using a computer. There's a difference ;-) Anyway, if you object to paying for wallpapers, I'm sure you also object to paying for MP3 downloads. And I'm sure you find some alternative. If you get what I'm saying :110:
I know you didn't mean anything by this, but I don't pay for MP3 downloads simply on the grounds that I don't get any physical medium for my money. I love buying CD's, though. I have a small collection of wallpapers I can use, I was just hoping to find that one. Seems kind of hopeless, though.
What I meant is, where would you go TO RENT *cough* some MP3s for free? Seems to me the same source might well have *cough* free wallpapers ;-)
Don't you see the picture in that post? That's the background he wants ;-) Personally, I find it a bit bland, and would say you could do a lot better. It is all down to personal taste though, I know ;-)
I thought it would be easier to find the picture if i knew more about what exactly its supposed to be.
It would be, but I don't know what it's called, or else I would've taken the route of Googling whatever creature it is and adding "wallpaper" to the search. I like relatively minimalistic wallpaper. Different strokes for different folks. Edit: I FOUND IT!! It was on Interfacelift. I just came across it after browsing through dozens of pages (out of pure boredom). Thanks folks. http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_beta/details/983/corals.html
Ahh! Didn't I say coral? ;-) hehe. I'm still not keen on the picture. Very uninspiring. And now I've seen it up close, it is really out of focus.
I'm partial to the color blue. It is somewhat out of focus, but I've seen far worse. Again, "different strokes for different folks."
