Im not sure this is the right scetion for this just so you know. Well I ordered a Xbox 360 on Ebay on the 30th of December: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8247462781&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT Its now the 2nd of Febuary and its still not here.I havent had any problems with sellers before.I have emailed him and he sent me picture of the recipt from the post office.It was insured and ceritfied also.But he only gave me the customs and insurannce tracking number.This tell me nothing but that it was accecpted not the location of the item. Im wondering what to do to keep from possibly losing my money.At this point I dont even want the freakin system anymore.I know you have a short amount of time to get your money back thru paypal. Im just looking for opinons as alot of you have used ebay alot longer than I.
Sounds like he should be able to claim it as lost in the post and get his money back - It says in the auction it is insured
Yeah thats what i told him in my last email.But I guess I should just go ahaed and start the process to get my money back.
He probably sent the item via ship, not airmail, and considering the weight of the item. There is a chance that its still on its way or since its a 360 and if he boxed the item poorly then it might have gotten stolen..
Yes, by ship it takes like 8 weeks or so. So don't freak out yet. Still, get the guy to give you a proper tracking number so you can take care of it yourself. Worst comes to worst it's insured, so you'll get your money back.
The thing is he sent it priority mail to my Apo address.Unless the military post messed up and put it on a ship it should have been sent by air.Thanks for the replys.
