Alright, so sometime back I bought a PS3 with 3D dot hero.. That's my entire PS3 library. I need help on getting idea for new PS3 games to get. I'm looking more for RPG's then anything else. I don't like these games like Skyrim or Mass effect. Any ideas here guys?
Except Heavy Rain, that game blows. Play Telltale's Walking Dead instead. Motorstorm Apocalypse is also a load of shit.
Heavy Rain isn't bad if you like that style of gameplay... Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2 are ultimately superior on the PS3, Uncharted 1-3, any of the God of War games, avoid Capcom MT Framework titles on the PS3 they're generally always better on the 360 (PS3 has vsync 360 has anti aliasing, take your pick). Like said above check out the exclusives...
I found it a pretty relaxing game and not very demanding, not your typical console experience, it reminded me of the old point and click games which I used to love. It's not an Oscar winner by no means, but each to their own I guess.
Yeah, it reminded me of old point-and-click games too, except especially the LucasArts ones had some great, hilarious writing and actual puzzles which were far more clever than anything you'd find in Heavy Rain. I mean, the game gives you an achievement for finding a numbered locker at the train station, something anyone without severe brain damage could manage. With this level of gameplay you'd think the story has to be good, but no, it's a terrible detective style story full of truck-sized plot holes written by David Cage, who proves yet again that his writing skills would get him laughed off even the NaNoWriMo forums.

7Force, I'm sorry you didn't like Heavy Rain, but a lot of us enjoyed it. I could see feeling sour and underwhelmed because of the hype behind it, but to say it blows? Perhaps it would be piplup10036 favorite game of all time. Would that be wrong?
I've seen Heavy rain... doesn't seem like a game I'd be to interested in. But I do see the point in your posts, Thanks for the suggestion Also, is bayonetta worth getting used for $15?
