I recently acquired a Sega Genesis Kiosk, I'm definitely not as familiar with Sega items as I am with other systems. Mostly I'm sorta looking for a small history lesson on the kiosk, I don't have great google-fu skills.
Here ya go. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=segaretro+genesis+kiosk First link should have some basic information. Google isnt tough these days even if its vague.
Yeah like i said I have already done that. But i have yet to find the exact model that I have, I was also looking for some personal history on it as well. If anyone else has a model like this Is it possible to track down where they originated from? All I have been able to find out is mine came from a Hospitals children's ward. Thanks for any REAL help.
They were made by starlight charity. They are not official product or anything. They went on a big plastic, metal, or wood rolling cart (medical) https://www.google.com/search?q=sta...LzWAhWB5yYKHayHCLMQ_AUICygC&biw=2560&bih=1461 There's no official model of configuration, it's not like they made many of these. It's nice to have. If you carefully tilt it back, and measure the distance between the bolt holes, you can find the correct medical cart to fit it to. Starlight charity is still around to this day and still making game units for hospitals, though the "always on connection" causes problems and limits game selection.
Thank you. No wonder I couldn't really find much info on it. I'm slightly disappointing that it's not official but it certainly explains all the game cartridges that have a security cable drilled through them.
