I have a theory. Bandai was the distributor of the Apple Pippin in the U.S., correct? Bandai's warehouse is located in Cypress, CA. What the hell happened to all of the Pippin stuff when Bandai ceased support? They liquidated it all. Destroying it all would have been suicidal. 'Pippin games are rare!' my ass. Random warehouses in California have that crap rotting on a wrapped-up pallet in the back somewhere. All it takes is someone willing to do some research and ask around and we can find out which companies bought up the merch and stored them in a forgotten location. It has happened before. Thousands of brand new Virtual Boy units found on several pallets recently in one of the world's richest and smallest middle-eastern countries. eBay scalpers with severe cases of assburgers got owned after that revelation and then the costs of brand new Virtual Boy units on eBay went for ~$100 instead of the $250+. Thousands of leftover Atari Jaguar (as well as 2600-7800) stuff from Atari's Sunnyvale warehouse made it to companies like B&C Computervisions and BEST Electronics, and they still haven't gone through it all. I don't live in California, so I don't have the luxury of being able to 'ask around' like some of you do. I could call random places, but I'm a nobody, and a nobody on a phone = get nowhere. Maybe once I get a better future after joining the military and have the funds to move out on my own and relocate to Californi...
Katz media bought it all. They lived off it for some years. There's probably nothing left. I dealt with them years ago, I bought directly from them.
So wait, they also had tons of copies of Super Marathon? What happened to Katz Media? I can't find any info on them. And what is their eBay handle?
