Gaze upon the new samsung external bluray drive: Now my point is, why the hell nextgen consoles cant be like this? why they need to go with either the ipod look or the DVD player style? The desing is simple yet funcional and looks good anywhere. Is classy so nobody is going to laugh at it. Anyways, it reminds me the desing of a saturn prototype I saw in a magazine back in 1994.
I dunno, just the shape and the little rounded accents around the square tray. Looks kinda boring in a way...to each his own I suppose.
All I want in a console is a square box. Nothing fancy, the Revolution is acceptable to me. I dont need it to have curves and all these other stupid designs that decrease the structural intergity.
Kinda reminds me of the M2; you know, the boxy disk tray? Anyway, consoles usually don't come with a $1000 price tag, so the fact that they don't look as nice does not surprise me.
I really don't care what a console looks like, i just need them to stack. I seem to end up with at least a dozen of each console so i need to be able to store them.
That looks liek the size of a PSX console. What's the pricetag on that? like $1,000? Genesis with a 32x on top is stackable. Just put the second Genesis upside down and they kinda lock making hte bottom side of the top Genesis even to stack on another one and repeat. But yeh, they neet to make them stackable.
For me it looks classical, the typical console layout (yet weird for a optical recorder) Dunno, it has a BOSE feel...
Pretty sweet, looks like some kind of alien technology, like you could use it to open wormholes or something.
