I really fondly remember those times. I'd stay up until 6 AM chatting with many of my friends (many who lived in the same city). I had had some sort of mental episode when I was studying to become an Architect (I changed majors, fortunately) - and after finishing the semester (90% average, even if it did cost me my health), I was sort of unbalanced. My sleep patterns were random, and I was sort of.... far away from reality. If it hadn't been for my old compaq laptop (800x600 display, 300mhz processor) continuously connected to a phone line, I have no Idea what would have happened to me in the final nights of 1999. Then all of my friends got on that MSN thing which I sort of hated, but by the end of 2000, we all had to have it because everybody else was using it and ICQ was a lonely place. I really wish there was an invisible list in MSN, though. And offline messages without Email.
