Sorry, spent the whole morning looking at lolcats pictures. Can I get some help identifying this PC Engine game, please? It looks vaguely naughty, and my limited Japanese is no use when combined with my brother's poor cell phone photography. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the ID assist. Is there something wrong with me that I can't tell one metal suit-wearing anime chick from the next? :)

EDIT: Sorry about posting in the wrong forum. Should this type of query not go in the general gaming or rare gaming sections?

I would have put it in General Gaming myself. It dosent appear to be rare by Assembler Games Standards and its gameing related so its not off-topic. ;)

So any opinions to share on Galaxy Fraulein Yuna? I'm being asked to rank how much I might want to receive this as a holiday gift, and I have no idea what the game is really like from the fan descriptions. Is it non-nihongophone friendly? Is the tactical RPG combat secondary to the menu-based dating adventures, or is it the other way around? I appreciate anything that you might want to share.

I'm guessing that the admin here don't speak l33t and that's why it got moved to Off Topic. ;)

Whoever did it probably didn't realize you were asking for help on a PCE game.

101z |\|00b, etc, etc Leet speak is bad, leave it to the 12 year old internet children who have no life.

The only thing I can remember about GFY was the fact it took a loooooong time from starting the game before you did anything. So watch intro, story, etc... It's also made by Red entertainment who went on to do Sakura Taisen.

It's not that we don't speak l33t, it's just that we don't want to. l33t is retarded

I remember trying out the Saturn port of this years ago and like what Jamtex said, it took a very long time before you could actually do anything. Also you asked if it's Non-Nihongo friendly. Well, I'm afraid not. Japanese is probably a skill needed to get the most out of this game.

Ah, Galaxy Fraulein Yuna - one of my favourite series of all time (as you can see from my avatar)

This one is a digital comic of sorts. The good one is the PSX one that has some tactical action, or Yuna FX, for the PCFX.

Now, the good part of this series is the OVA, Galaxy Fraulein Yuna Returns - which is written by Satoru Akahori, and thus has a really good twisty second half.

I love that series to death, man.
