Thought I would retake pics as my collection and gaming area look much different now and hence the new topic rather than continuing the old one. As such perhaps the mods would want to delete the old one, thanks. Not my whole collection....a lot of PAL DC games, my Dreamakara/Dreamcast JP bundle, Arsenal DC Display pod, and complete ODM UK set w/coverdiscs are all in the UK with a friend. Below is what I do have with myself, a lot of stuff in the closet shot though is hidden behind the front stash. One thing I clearly need is a much bigger display than the 17" CRT (urgh) below to game on, but as easy and inexpensive as it would be to buy for example a 27" flat-screen TV, I prefer having my consoles hooked up to my capture card to record vids , take screenshots etc., especially and particularly in PSO. I guess when the dreaded day comes of PSO PAL's severs going down, I'll get around to getting a big screen TV or monitor. Well here we are: Desk where I generally study/use laptop. Climax Landers/ Puyo Puyo DC posters/ a COS II wal scroll at the back on the wall, also visible is a framed copy of the fairly rare now Shenmue II DC GAME preorder pamphlet, you can also see the lower corner of my Xmas NiGHTS promo poster . Shelf on the right has DC related stuff on top, Genesis stuff on the second shelf, then Saturn games , mostly common stuff but also less common games such as the NiGHTS longbox sealed (pretty rare now compared esp. to the boxset), the very rare Winning Post, and the recently found sealed copy of Three Dirty Dwarves. Lowest shelf houses SEGA CD games, mostly common stuff ( I love FMV , hehe) but also some rare ones such as Third World War sealed, etc. Konami official DC DDR pad is there too. This smaller shelf houses my Saturn Jp/Mega CD Jp/PAL games and NGPC stuff beneath all the Shenmue stuff on top.. Game gear stuff beneath that, hidden by the sega GAGA vmu NIB, the LE Music Box version of my fave Korean movie, The Classic. Also Cosmic Smash sealed in its lovely DVD case, behind and beside which are some XB/GC games, most of which are of course SEGA games, followed by Tecmo and Capcom, the only other two third parties I bother with on current platforms, probably because they treates SEGA consoles fairly well in the past, heh. You can also see the JP MD/MCD and the Laseractive unit with SEGA module, black SEGA Sports DC with BBA and black JP KB. GC next to it under that copy of NHL Hitz. Saturn VF poster from EB, SEGA neon blue light, SEGA hardware family set, Xmas Seaman, DC bottle holder. DC cases and T-shirts; EU DC attache case/ backpack, Australian DC bookbag, EU DC CD wallet, EU DC retail employee launch t-shirt (has the UK launch date printed on the sleeves), under that NA black/orange dc promo t-shirts, on top of the bookbag a NA DC cardboard attache case of sorts. All new/never used of course. General shot of where I game. Pretty self explantory, PC's here, the white DC in the corner there is the one with my JP PSO HL/info stored on it and is hooked up via the standard modem. The lowest shelf holds my SEGA CDX with the Power Base converter fitted, Hitachi Hi-Saturn modded, and Pokemon ed. N64. SEGA Geshapon set on top of the DVD player that lies atop the XBOX, and a SEGA fluorescent sign above all that. This shelf was too tall for one pic, top part of it here; 2x SP5 Tower Records resin statues, sealed, Sp5 cellphome strap, magnets, postcards, hot wheels etc all new, and two DC PAL bundles. Oh and Samba PAL sealed atop, with the SEGA direct box Baldr Force EXE came in atop that. Lower part of the shelf. As you can see I'm primarily a PAL Dc collector, every PAL peripheral released is on that shelf below the PAL games (more of which are behind the games you see) , including the rare PAL Lemon Controller and Fishing Controller. Most of the PAL games and all accessories are sealed. Below the PAL stuff NTSC UC games/systems/promo stuff, and below that JP stuff. Also visible : Treamcats hooked up to monitor thru VGA for TATE gaming on Ikaruga, Psyvariar et al and my beloved DC Europe umbrella. Closer view of this shelf, Baldr Force EXE with sega direct ed. stuff, sega ages windbreaker , shenmue cd wallet, shenmue timex watch, shenhua figiurine, sakura DC sealed. Below that you can also see the rare Mario Lemieux hockey boxset, and the McDonald's Singapore SEGA games set complete NIB, which I think are the same as the ones Brazil got, which in nay case are far better than the crap we got in North America and UK. 32X stuff on the left, with the rarer stuff, WSB, Knuckles Chaotix, Spider-Man visible in front, with other stuff in the back inc some HK PAL 32x games. Next to those are my most prized Saturn titles, all sealed : Resident Evil (sealed is hard to find), Xmas NiGHTS , PDS, SF III, Burning Rangers, Sega AGES, MKR, Saturn Bomberman. NiGHTS strat guide is behind them, and to their right WS stuff inc. the FF LE boxset, With You boxset, and the Wonderwitch kit. Below that shelf you can see the white Tectoy Saturn, Netlink (one sealed) modem sets, and the sealed NetLink games pack, and some SMS games inc Sf 2, MK 3 , VF et al. Oh and of course, the sealed copies of Radiant Silvergun and its OST. View of the closet below that shelf. Pretty self-explanatory. Everything here is mostly new. There are a lot of consoles not visible here covere dup by the stuff at front, such as tje XB sega bundle,NIB sega cd/genesis core units, meancxer, activator, etc. The original Genesis (black box) is new, as is the PB converter; behind the CDN crystal XBOX there's also a brand new genesis sega sports bundle. Closer view of the saturn stuff hidden up there. The boxes of Saturns extend to the very bottom of the closee, including a MIB MK-1 saturn and a Netlink bundle saturn. Sealed Tectoy MK-1/white saturns visible, also the rare HK VCD model, Saturn FDD beneath it, sealed Stunner, and assorted accessories/promo stuff. ] Closer view of the GG stuff obscured in the top pic. That's a MIB Coca Coka edition GG up there, beneath it a sealed very old blue box sonic 2 gg bundle, beneath that a nib later model GG, and unde rthat , not visible, NIB sega sports GG bundle. Nomad sealed, case, branded adaptor, and powerback, you can also see the sealed NGPC wireless comm units and brazilian SMS 3d glasses nib. Oh and the shenmue t-shirt from the Yu Suzuki signing in San Jose. Complete US ODM set with demos, mint, also the rare preview guides. Small rack behind holds about half the set of UK Saturn magazine and other older sega mags. Above them the dc tissue holder and sega JP poo-chi. And the Afterburner tabletop LCD game next to them. Official UK ODM complete set I also own but is in UK. SEGA banner from TRU a nice chick working there gave me free , some PAL Dc posters. I have many more but will only put them up when i get some frames as they're for more valuable games. Retro magazine heaven, about 120 old skool issues of EGM, Mega Play , and Nintendo Power mags. Closer view of the Shenmue store promo standee. ^_^ The Saturn release promo standee was covered up by the JP DC preorder towel so I took a pic of it again. Sweet stuff, got it new in its original retailer box with documentation. Arsenal DC GK shirt next to it hanging there, new with tags. WS stuff again, here you can also see the Crazy Taxi remote control car and beneath it NIB Genesis 3. The Hi-Saturn, N64 and CDX mentioned above but weren't visible there pictured here. Also the NGPC flasher/cart here as well. Close up of some stuff not visible above in the closet pics; sealed CDX, NIB Brazil MultiMega, white Tectoy MD, rare as hell Mark III MD Mega Adaptor, CDX carrycase, one loose, one MIB, etc. Oh and the NIB Sega CD MK-1. Apologies if the pics are too big, if they are LMK and I will resize them.
The bigger the picture, the better!!! Nice Sega Collection!! Once I move out of here I'll concentrate on displaying my whole collection and show it all to you guys.
That's one hell of a Sega collection you have there !! Well done ! I see that you're quite a PAL collector too. Yakumo
Heh, thank you. Yes, the bundle that is strangely thus far exclusive to Canada. Thanks Yakumo. DC-wise yes I'm primarily a PAL collector, as the UK is where I discovered/bought/got into the DC and even after moving back to Canada I continued collecting DC stuff from PAL regions primarily, mainly because of the nostalgia factor I would guess. Goodness I miss that heady last year of DC releases.
WOW! It's all the promo stuff that gets me, posters/boxes, etc... You've got all the Dreamcast stuff I ever wanted, lol.
wow! Shemue otaku m(_ _)m nice promo stuff... mine's tend to be stored like I can't have 'em displayed like you - the life of married man you know :smt022
Your collection scares me, it really does. It's too damn big! Aren't you afraid late at night, all that stuff is just going to come and jump you when you're asleep? :smt042 :-D
