Id Software-Developed SMB3 PC Port Prototype

For this picking this apart; you have to remember this was thrown together by one guy as a proof of concept that id could pull off a horizontal scrolling platformer on the PC. By no means was this something a team of people labored over trying to produce an exact port.

 

It was called Dangerous Dave in Copyright Infringement. There might be a dos version out there.

It has the Dangerous Dave sprites instead of the Mario Sprites. Somebody should hack and replace the Dangerous Dave sprites with The mario ones!

 

thanks bud, maby i could do it (im not use to DOS) but im prety sure it can easily be done considering i can use the sprites from the mockup
