So I've got 2 consoles here: A) 1.1 board with an Xecuter 2.0 Lite modchip and the older X2 4973 BIOS B) 1.0 board which is TSOP'd and has the X2 5035 BIOS When I use an IDE to SATA adapter and a 160GB drive in console A, it boots up fine (into AID) and allows me to set it up etc. In console B however, it frags out on the "Xecuter 2 Config Live Loading" screen. Any ideas why? Is there something different about the X2 5035 BIOS, or a setting that needs to be changed? Or maybe the adapter is just fussy on that particular board? I've tried an 80 wire IDE cable too but no difference...
