Picked up a cheap PS2 on ebay that didn't read disks. I'll deal with the laser later, but the console has clear signs of water damage, although it does still work. I took it apart and discovered it had a (really badly installed) modchip. Can someone tell me what it is?

Oh wait, it says Messiah 2 on the back lol. I guess that answers my question.

Is it worth keeping it? or should I just bin it and replace with a Modbo?

the 3.3v trace that runs along the bottom of the chip has been cut. Does anyone know the reason for this?
