This is a very low-res picture of a dev kit's motherboard, it obviously has HDMI so its Zephyr, Falcon or Jasper. It also has the strange proto headers leading me to believe it is not a zephyr. Can anyone help me identify what revision this is? View attachment 7128 I'm thinking about buying a Taobao kit, the seller has great reviews and I found a middle man so now I just have to decide if I should go for it or not.
The Southbridge having a black color instead of the silver indicates it's a jasper. The header near the CPU is for a titan board if i recall, but I have only seen them on Beta kits. The proto may be able use a titan board, i dont know for sure. The color of the mobo is a slightly lighter green color which is different from the retail dark green, which is interesting. Or it could be the light in the camera?
This is the only picture I got that gives me any information on the board, If I could get a pic of the connector I would.
If you have the original plastic case for this board you could check the sticker beside the power connector that indicates how many amps the 12V rail takes. It's a solid indication on what revision it is. The more power it takes, the older it is. I don't have the values but these are posted everywhere on the net. Also check the power brick it came with. If it's a 203W max then it's a Zephyr, 174ish is a Falcon and 145ish is a Jasper. But beware that you can put a 203W power brick on a Jasper and it'll work fine.
He says he cant check the power supply connector - which implies its not in his possession. Which is why he says he only has this picture.
If you read the OP you would see that I stated I was planning on buying this Taobao (china) kit... I never claimed I own this.
Planning to buy it, which means you dont have it and you arent able to look at the power rating on the back (as you have already said, this is the only picture you have). Why the hell are you quoting me, when I was telling people who are telling you to look at the back of a unit you dont have... I am the one who is well aware you dont have the unit, hence telling the people who are telling to you look at X and Y (which isnt in your picture) that you dont have the unit.
