If there was an Emu project you could fundraise to complete, what would it be.

I think a Bleemcast method is needed. Configure different builds for different games, so maybe one for Nights, one for Radiant Silvergun, one for Clockwork Knight, etc. Each build configured for just the right amount of performance and percision.

Then you would have emulators for all few thousand games. That's stupid. Just wait for a good PC or next-gen emulator or better yet buy a cheapo Saturn.

Some of us only want to play a game or 2, such as me. If I wanted to play Saturn all day, I'd spend the money, but getting a Saturn up here is $80-$100+, never mind the price of Nights and the 3D control pad, so there is no such thing as a cheapo Saturn, unless you get lucky.

How about a profile approach, ala Xbox 360? The emu would still have to be solid, but individual games can be tweaked without breaking playability of others.

    I concur. I would slaughter a baby penguin for a full-speed Model 3 emulator.

Anyways, I PMed Bluecrab about possible ways to help, including fundraiser for documentation.

So while the guy seems to have the knowledge and the ability. Time and life has taken over. The thing is wether or not we like it life and so-forth often ends up causing a projects cancelation.

This is why I still like my contest idea. It may not help BlueCrab specifically, but it will definitely catch the eye of other coders and eventually result in a solid emulator

Spending money on hardware (e.g. dev hardware), dev software (SDKs, compilers etc) and documentation (e.g. chipset datasheets, official dev documentation etc) would be the best way to go IMO.
