If you were stranded on a desert island...

And could have one game system plus 10 games (plus TV to play it on etc but NO internet connection or anything like that. Assume e.g. no PS2/3 linux either, only games. Any and all accessories including dance mats, guns, wheels, guitars etc are allowed. Assume also that you get all expansion packs and downloadable content for the games you pick.) what console and what 10 games would you pick?

For me, the console I would pick would probobly be the XBOX 360 and I would have the following games:
Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (with all the downloadable content)
Command & Conquer 3 (with the Kane's Wrath expansion)
V8 Supercars Race Driver with wheel (assuming it exists for the 360)
Halo 3
Tony Hawks Pro Skater
Lego Star Wars Complete Saga
Star Trek Legacy
The Simpsons Game
Thrillville (only because Rollercoaster Tycoon does not exist on the XBOX)

If they ever put some AC/DC in there, I would put Guitar Hero on the list (with guitar of course)

 

If I were stranded, I d rather have an endless supply of drugs and women than any games to be honest. Depends also on the morphology and fauna of the island of course, maybe I could start an agricaltural business with nearby islands after I built a raft!

I always find this question really stupid, no offense, but only a modern city dependent society could ask what would happen if you found yourself on a desert island. People have traversed the globe before the engine was invented. People have lived on islands since time began. Being 'remote' is only a modern concept borne of lacking the skills locals have in being self sufficient. Stuff the games console! I'd get off!

As I am incredibly self sufficient, I would use my first few days to become familiar with the island, what was available to keep me alive and create sufficient shelter. Then, and only after I have found fresh water etc, I would start planning how to get home.

Personally I don't like these questions either. I would probably take a ps2 and some sdk and doc discs and finally get to learn proper coding until im rescued :katamari:

i'd choose a wii with all the wii/gc resident evil games and some RPG. and drugs and women of course, shit thats no games!

 

I'd sooner choose a list of ten women to be stuck on a desert island with, but if its one console with games then I guess I might well go for Dreamcast with....

I'm surprised nobody thought of a pimped up XBOX with all the ROMZ. I mean they are all in the HD, and it's still one system. And you could still bring 10 Xbox games on top of that which aren't already in the HD of said Xbox.
